This custom chalet is about 300 steps to the Sunday River slopes, and sleeps up to 25 people in 16 cozy beds.

The pet-friendly Funhouse is a large ski chalet approximately 400-steps to the Road Runner ski trail down to the Tempest lifts in one direction. Alternatively, take a 5 min jaunt on the path over the footbridge to South Ridge Lodge, the 6-person Chondola ski lift, the Foggy Goggle apres-ski bar, ski rentals, and the Mountain Grocer in the other direction. It’s a 9-min stroll to the new Definitive Brewery. 
The chef’s kitchen offers a 5-burner stove, griddle, two ovens, gourmet spices, 2 dishwashers and 2 sinks, Le Creuset cookware, and dinnerware for up to 30 people.
A twelve-stool breakfast bar wraps the kitchen and is flanked by a 65″ flat-screen TV.
The great room features a towering stone fireplace surrounded by a wall of windows and a massive couch to cozy into for long chats around a blazing fire. 
The stone-walled dining room features a large walnut table, fireplace, and designer lighting.  
The downstairs game room is surrounded by sports memorabilia and offers cozy seating and a large smart TV. The arcade games include Big Buck Hunter, Golden Tee Golf, and Ms. PacMan. A second refrigerator off from the game room is perfect for filling with your favorite Maine craft brews.   
The PlayStation-powered Kids Cave is the perfect spot for the kids to be as rambunctious as they wish. 
The master bedroom features a two-person steam room and a private full bathroom.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and a full bath with a lofted hallway overlooking the great room. There are two bunk rooms off from the game room supported by a full bathroom.  
The boot room includes a custom boot and mitten dryer and a 1/2 bathroom and exits onto a large deck with a top-of-the-line hot tub. The hot tub is serviced by a certified OPL technician before and after every guest’s arrival. A fire pit and small side yard are just off the deck, a perfect spot to set up a corn hole tournament.

The pool opens May 15th, but it’s been opened sooner.

Alternatively, grab a glass of vino and stroll around the art gallery throughout every room. Dozens of original arts are hung throughout every room, featuring pieces from local artists to world-renowned collectibles.

Before jumping into super-premium linens and bedding, stargaze through the moon telescope.

Once it’s time to sleep, here are your options:

The Second Floor Master Bedroom:
Wake up to see the Sunday River slopes in the king bed master suite. This room features a dressing room and a stunning tiled 2-person shower, raining from multiple nozzle heads and a double vanity flanked by a separated private toilet. A flat-screen TV completes the space for streaming your favorite series.

More Sleeping Arrangement Details

The 1st Floor Family Suite:
This features two full-size beds and a super fun loft for kids with 4 twins. If a loft for twin beds can be luxurious, this is it. This fully tiled bathroom is perfect for the boys in the family. It has a urinal. It’s exquisite…urinal and all. Random…we know.

The 2nd Floor Family Suite:
This large family suite features a king bed and 5-custom designed twin bunks around a privacy wall. There is plenty of closet space and a full-size tile bathroom with a shower and dual vanities.

The 2nd Floor Corner Bedroom:
This cozy queen bedroom overlooking the hot tub below has a custom bureau, closet, and a full-size bathroom with a tile shower just outside the door. With 3 full bathrooms to serve three bedrooms, the adjacent bathroom can quickly be dedicated to this corner bedroom.

The Jungle Bunk:
In the north wing of the house is a giant room, home to the “tree” of cantilevered bunks looking out through a massive wall of windows, then flanked by floor to ceiling art of a waterfall on one side and 20′ tree on the other.

The Family Suite:
This is a new suite in the north wing of the house with two sets of twin bunks and one queen bed. This bunk room flanks the other side of the large bunk bathroom described above. Perfect for a family of 6 or less.

The Basement Nook:
This space feels like a cozy little cave for deep sleepers and snorers. It’s away from all the other bedrooms is home to the downstairs pool table. This bedroom uses a bathroom with a stand-up shower.

In winter, play paddle ball on the hockey rink; we supply all the equipment for arguably the funniest family game on Earth. In summer, play 6 v 6 beach volleyball under the lights before you chill out around the fire pit and listen to the river babble while gazing at the spectacular starlit sky. During the day, take a snooze after a mid-day hot tub in a hammock haven along the river.

The adult game room has multiple TVs for sports, a pool table, a ping pong table, a large shuffle puck game, Golden Tee Golf, Darts, and so on. There is a second room for gamers with 4 connected PlayStations and foosball table in the kid’s game room. Flick on the disco lights and boogie down this vacation.

The grand family suite with a king and 3 twins and a private bathroom, a second bedroom overlooking the river has a queen bed and private bathroom, the third and fourth queen bedrooms share a full bathroom. The bunk wing has 3 xl twin bunks and a private bath in the room; the second bunk room has 2 full beds and two twin bunks with a private bathroom.

A formal dining room with a custom-built table just off the kitchen has a seat for everyone. Relax after dinner around the fire and enjoy a game on the giant scrabble board,or relax into one of two movie rooms.

Winter: The home is under 10 minutes to Sunday River for some of the best skiing on the East. If the ski conditions aren’t up to par, bust out the skates and play pickup hockey. Or just throw on your boots and play a game of Paddleball with our paddleball gear. Bring your snowmobiles for endless trail riding on the ITS. Take our snowshoes for a jaunt up the trail systems starting right at the end of the driveway.

Summer: The possibilities feel endless. If you want a lazy trail ride or world-class mountain biking and/or afternoon hike, the Paddle House is across the street from the trailheads. The private setting with a massive yard and outdoor games will keep you busy with fun. If you’re itching for adventure, head upriver 6 miles to the Gilead Bridge, where you can launch our kayak for a paddle or make a big booze barge and lazily float back to the house.
